Sera planned out their outfits perfectly. I love the black and white with yellow details that they chose to wear.

Sera and Ameen reenacted their engagement. They became engaged in this exact spot right near the Orlando Museum of Art.

When planning out what to wear for engagement sessions or In Love Sessions it is important to wear something that you feel comfortable and beautiful in. Sera and Ameen did a stellar job of color coordinating their outfits and picking out details that pop in photos.

Patty and Gary are the amazing parents of Christy, whose bridal shower I photographed last fall. Christy gave her parents an In Love Session as a thanks for all of their help with her recent wedding. I have gotten to know Christy’s family pretty well over the several functions that I’ve been able to be a part of as their photographer.

I love these photos of Patty and Gary. After years of marriage they are still so in love!

In Florida we have the most beautiful light about an hour before the sun goes down. I love photographing at this time, especially in the winter when the weather is nice a cool. These photographs were taken about an hour before the sun went down.

The inspiration for this post came from the oh so fabulous Anthropologie. This month’s Antro catalog was especially wonderful. Looking through back catalogs of Anthropologie I noticed that each catalog had a specific theme. There is one catalog months and months back that was photographed entirely underwater! Each catalog is so distinctly different while still having that “Anthropologie” look. There is consistency in their style while still having an openness to explore. This is exactly what I am trying to achieve in the next stage of my photography, consistency & exploration.

Laura and John agreed to model for this exploration photo session. Laura and John were one of the first models for HA! Photography over three years ago. Laura and I have been friends since the awkward days of middle school dances and high school youth group. Laura and John are not professional models, but they sure could be!

Jaclyn and Scott had to reschedule their session twice because of the Florida rainstorms. I am so glad we rescheduled. The light on the evening of their session was absolutely gorgeous. I drove over to the Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter park and thought to myself, we could have not picked a better evening. Jaclyn and Scott were such good sports about rescheduling the session, and I am sure they are glad that we ended up with such a beautiful evening.

I think Rachel and Matt hold the record of most photos taken by HA! Photography. They should get some kind of reward or something. We had a blast hanging out with Rachel and Matt in Germany on our Europe trip two months ago (crazy how time flies!). The last night we were traveling in wine country of Germany (think Napa Valley) we did a quick impromptu In Love Session.

These two lovebirds were married a year and a half ago in Sonoma Valley and are still crazy in love. I secretly think they are still on their honeymoon. That has to be the longest honeymoon ever.

Kim and Nathan met at the University of Florida and fell in love. They are getting married in almost a month and I am so honored to be their wedding photographer. It was great to get the chance to finally meet them. Like many of our clients, Kim and I had many phone conversations about her wedding but never had the chance to meet in person before she booked with HA! Photography. I was so happy to see their smiling faces when they walked up to Barnie’s Coffee to meet for the In Love Session. I knew from that moment that we would have a ton of fun photographing their wedding. I can’t wait! Anybody who likes Gurtzberry is good in my book.
