I spent $250 for a nook 1 1/2 years ago. It died 2 days ago. I took it to a B and N store today and they won't replace it. Sucks @nookcare

A few weeks ago I attended a workshop to learn video from a friend of mine, Josh Smith from Cinematic Bride. This one on one workshop took place in Monroe, Louisiana just an hour from the fictional town of Bon Temps (for all you True Blood fans out there). Call me a dork, but I was very exited to be in Louisiana the weekend before the season premiere of True Blood. Speaking of which, have you guys been keeping up with the latest season? It has been fantastic! Alan Ball, the creator (writer/director) of True Blood has been on top of his game lately. Love him!
Back to the workshop… Josh is an amazing teacher! He took me through the steps of creating video from start to finish. I am no longer completely lost when I open up Final Cut Pro. Josh set up a video shoot with two models, who are a couple, which made it really easy to shoot. We worked for a few hours filming the two of them and getting some “scene setting” shots that we could put together to create a short video. We then went back to his studio and edited until midnight creating the video below.
We are now offering video! Yes, that is right! We currently have two services available and for the next few weeks they are discounted. In order to get this introductory rate, you must book with us by August 1st! This also applies to current photography clients, you must tell us you want the video add on by August 1. No exceptions. The rate will go up. Significantly. Email us.
If you are a current photography client, or would like to be, the video service is only: $425 – for the time you have us hired for photography
If you would like video but have already hired a photographer and would like us for video only: $775 – 4 hours
