I spent $250 for a nook 1 1/2 years ago. It died 2 days ago. I took it to a B and N store today and they won't replace it. Sucks @nookcare

I must admit a secret to you. I love modern simple style. These cards are just that.
I found these gorgeous letterpress cards a few months ago while wasting time on the internet. To justify my internet time wasting addiction, I will share these classy letterpress cards with you. Danielle from Tallu-lah has created these beautiful cards to give out to the people that have helped you most with your wedding. You can buy Danielle’s cards here!
You can view more of Danielle’s creations on her new website that launched this week! She also has a fabulous blog that you can follow here.

Remember these two people?
They are now engaged! John asked Laura to marry him while in Central Park yesterday. Congratulations to some of my favorite people! I think the photo session was well timed (only a week after the session they are engaged!).
You can view their Anthropologie style photo shoot here.

Inspiration, where does it come from?
The inspiration for this post came from the oh so fabulous Anthropologie. This month’s Antro catalog was especially wonderful. Looking through back catalogs of Anthropologie I noticed that each catalog had a specific theme. There is one catalog months and months back that was photographed entirely underwater! Each catalog is so distinctly different while still having that “Anthropologie” look. There is consistency in their style while still having an openness to explore. This is exactly what I am trying to achieve in the next stage of my photography, consistency & exploration.
Laura and John agreed to model for this exploration photo session. Laura and John were one of the first models for HA! Photography over three years ago. Laura and I have been friends since the awkward days of middle school dances and high school youth group. Laura and John are not professional models, but they sure could be!

During the countless hours I spend making your photos beautiful, I listen to a ridiculous amount of music. Music moves me in a way like no other. I can instantly be transported back to a specific time and place just by a single song.
Yeah Yeah Yeah’s – Walking the streets of Brooklyn, circa 2003.
Lisa Loeb – Driving back from North Carolina after a ski trip.
Dave Matthew’s Band – My first kiss.
There are several albums on my playlist that I keep going back to this month. Please check out these bands below, they are kinda awesome.
Phoenix -
What is on your music rotation right now? I love finding out about new music!
