Summer Style: Friends

06/30 by Heather

It had been years since I stepped foot on the campus of the University of Central Florida. The only real time I’ve ever spent at UCF was in the old outdoor swimming pool doing backflips off the diving board. In high school our swim team would practice in the occasional heated waters of UCF’s swimming pool. As a diver the heat was necessary, as jumping in and out of a chilly pool in the middle of November is not what I think of when I think of the word fun. Oh to be a sophomore in highschool again.

When Erica suggested that we do their Summer Style: Friends photosession at UCF I was so excited! UCF has some great places to photograph as the school is one of the largest, if not the largest in the state. Erica and her 4 sorority sisters met up with me at the fountain at UCF. That was really the only logical meeting place from my tiny knowledge of UCF. Erica, Rachel, Mich, Lindsay and Amy are in the Sigma Phi Lamda sorority at UCF. From the way they talked about their friendship and their love of their sorority I knew that there was something special about this group of girls. They are seriously some of the kindest fun loving girls I have ever had a chance to spend an hour with. That hour was great!

Heartache, tears, joy.. friendship is there through it all. Great friends are needed in this crazy hectic world.
